The unique atmosphere at The Fox and Anchor was a highlight, especially enjoying delicious pub food while mingling with locals. The surprise upgrade to a spacious suite was an unexpected treat!

There was tasty food, the staff was delightfully helpful and very friendly. Location: the hotel was really close to the city meat distribution center, many attractions as well as the underground and Clapham.

Comfortable suite, spacious lounge, with a lovely private garden balcony that allowed us to unwind after a day of exploration and the friendly staff ensured our experience was good, with convenient wi-fi and an inviting bar/lounge area for drinks after dinner.

Nothing not to love.

We explored the nearby market and took part in one of the best walking tours in the area. The rooms were spacious and clean, and it had a cute atmosphere for all ages. Just a tip, check which rooms you're getting for quieter stays.

The pub vibes were amazin, and the staff were super friendly. The food was seriously good, especially the london platter we shared! Totally loved how quiet our room was despite being above a pub, perfect for a good night's sleep. Would definitely come back!

We loved staying at this fantastic pub with our family and our non-service dog. The atmosphere was cute for all ages, and the breakfast was one of the best I've had in London! The staff were super friendly and accommodating.

My kids wished there were more outdoor play options for them. A small fenced-in area would be great for families traveling with pets.

Ideal stay for families

Had a super spacious room with a fantastic mini bar stocked with high quality drinks and snacks. The staff were friendly and they even had the good back bacon for breakfast that I savored-picture me, sitting there, enjoying it with a cup of proper tea.

It wasn't cheap, but it was still acceptable for the experience you get.

The historic ambiance combines a rustic charm with modern comforts that's hard to find elsewhere. Luxurious copper bathtubs in specific rooms offer a good escape after a long day.

The dim lighting in the rooms can catch you off guard. There's a lack of drawers or shelves for storage, leading to a cluttered feel with the minibar items taking up valuable space. The bathroom plumbing leaves a bit to be desired. Showers might spray in all directions, and strange noises from the toilet can be a bit unsettling. The lack of a cold mini-fridge is also a letdown for those hoping to chill some drinks.

I stayed in a Double Room for 2 nights. The decor was charming with cozy wooden panels, really brought the place to life. The bathroom had a nice clawfoot tub which was great for a soak. But those narrow stairs could be tricky if you've got lots of bags. Overall comfy and was like a little escape.
